Lift passes

Our lift passes are all automatic – no messing about getting your gloves off to dig out your pass – the embedded chip in the pass automatically opens the gate as you pass near the card reader. Just zip it into your jacket and forgert about it.

You can choose a full Portes du Soleil pass or stick to the Super-Châtel area – you can always upgrade if you change your mind later. Click here for explainations.

We can arrange your pass in advance – just make your choice from the prices page, add it to your booking and skip the queues! Passes must be paid for in Euros in resort.

Equipment hire

You'll benefit from the great service and discounts we get at Daniel Cruz Sports, Châtel's top sports shop. Daniel and his staff will make sure you get the right gear for your experience and ability – last year people raved about their knack of getting it right first time!

If you feel like a change you could swap skis for a board (or vice-versa), or try a day on 'Bigfeet' (short skate-like skis, great fun).

You can book your equipment in advance, so we can have it all ready for you when you arrive.

Lessons

Ski Degrees founder Brian Evans is a qualified ski and snowboard instructor working with the ESF (Ecole du Ski Francais). He gives private and one-to-one lessons, and will be available every evening for advice on every aspect of skiing in Chatel.

Châtel has a number of excellent ski/board schools, offering group or private lessons for all ages and abilities, but we reccommend ESF and SSEI.

If you let us know which lessons you'd like to book we can arrange them in advance for you. Contact us for advice on what's best for you. You could leave it until you arrive, but at peak times classes fill up and you may not get what you want.
